Mitigation of Tuberculosis Within the Workplace
Regulation of the Minister of Manpower No. 13 of 2022 on the Mitigation of Tuberculosis Within the Workplace
Enforcement Date: 22 September 2022
- The following parties are required to implement tuberculosis mitigation efforts within the workplace: 1) Employers (i.e. individuals, partnerships or legal entities that): a) Operate self-owned companies; b) Independently operate companies that do not belong to them; or 3) Reside in Indonesia in order to represent companies that are domiciled outside Indonesia; and 2) Managers (i.e. persons in charge of directing workplaces or independent parts thereof).
- The mitigation of tuberculosis in workplaces should be carried out through the following measures: 1) Formulation of policies that address the mitigation of tuberculosis within the workplace; 2) Socialization, dissemination of information, and education relating to tuberculosis within the workplace; 3) Finding of tuberculosis cases; 4) Handling of tuberculosis cases; and 5) Health rehabilitation.
