Regulation of the Minister of Industry No. 6 of 2022 on Specifications, Development Roadmap, and Conditions of Counting the Value of Domestic Component Level for Domestic Battery-Powered Electric Vehicles (Battery Electric Vehicle)
Enforcement Date: 11 March 2022
- Calculations of Domestic Component Level (tingkat komponen dalam negeri – “TKDN”) values for the manufacturing and assembly aspects of electric vehicles have now been divided into the following periods: 1) 2020 – 2023; and 2) 2024 onwards.
- The methods that should be used in order to complete TKDN-value calculations for the development aspect now encompass methods relating to research-and-development activities and the investment values of said activities.
- Holders of TKDN-value certificates are now required to self-calculate their TKDN values on an annual basis from the dates upon which their certificates are issued and to report the relevant results to the Director-General of Metal, Machinery, Transportation and Electronics Industries.
