Services for the Checking of Land Certificates and Marking of Land Registration Certificates (SKPT) through Electronic Means

- The Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency has issued a set of guidelines that address the provision of services relating to the checking of land certificates and the issuance of land registration certificates (Surat Keterangan Pendaftaran Tanah – “SKPT”) through an electronic system.
- The electronic system in question will offer Certificate Checking and SKPT Services. The Certificate Checking Service will be provided to users in order for them to be able to cross-check the conformity of Land Certificates or Ownership Rights over Multi-Story Housing Units with the list provided by the Land Office. Meanwhile, SKPT Services comprise the following services that relate to the issuance of SKPT: 1) Obtaining replacement certificates (if certificates have been lost); 2) Auctions; or 3) Other activities.
- The above-mentioned electronic system will be accessible to the following users: land-deed officials (Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah/PPAT), legal entities, government agencies, individuals and other parties who require land-related information.
